Responsibilities
- Supervising, managing and directing all maintenance personnel and activity within an industrial plant
- Oversee all contractor repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities
- Develop, implement, coordinate and prioritize the preventative maintenance scheduling program for entire production floor including CNC machines and other industrial equipment
- Ensure on-time completion for all PM (Preventive Maintenance) schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Create and maintain files of maintenance history for all related production and facilities equipment
- Facilitate technical training for maintenance personnel including troubleshooting techniques, PLC's, complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintenance of various material handling equipment including jib and overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet-jacks, etc
- Overseeing facilities maintenance activities including building roof issues, leaks, gutter maintenance, HVAC system, etc.
- Oversee and manage all janitorial and grounds maintenance activities including snow plowing, sidewalk ice removal, etc.
- Oversee and manage company delivery trucking fleet maintenance activities including both diesel & gas vehicles
- Recommend and facilitate the hiring, training and releasing of maintenance personnel.
