Responsibilities
Attending shipping meetings with Plant Manager, Materials Manager, and sales team to verify shipments,
trucks needed, and any problems that may delay the shipments.
Ensuring proper storing and staging of products by SKU, size, color, etc. in the warehouse and yard.
Coordinate with Production Team to provide the Sales and Customer Service Team with information regarding
shipment dates and shipping delays.
Work closely with our 3 rd Party Logistics partners to maintain visibility and accountability of all material, both
finished goods, inbound / outbound scrap for reprocessing.
Determine load configurations including combing orders in similar areas to fulfill orders or fill trucks to ship
together.
Provide shipment dates and information to the Sales and Customer Service team.
Maintain working relationship with freight partners.
Ensure shipments comply with customer requirements for packaging and shipping.
Heavily engaged in inventory activities such as adjustments through rewind or cycle counts.
Ensures raw materials and all deliveries are received in, accounted for, and transacted properly in the ERP
system and validate with the purchase order.
Work with QA Department to ensure returned goods are inspected and paperwork is completed.
Inspires a culture of safety, 5S, and continuous improvement.
Must be a Team Player and Team Builder.
Ensure packaging, loading and shipping procedures are strictly adhered to.
