Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the maintenance team to foster a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
- Administer and support plant policies, procedures, and objectives to achieve maintenance and operational goals.
- Plan, schedule, and deliver training programs for maintenance and operational staff, including leadership development.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with company standards and operational efficiency.
- Provide hands-on support for maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
- Manage maintenance work orders, PM scheduling, equipment documentation, and employee coaching to meet daily performance targets.
- Collaborate with technical experts and use manuals, blueprints, and schematics to maintain and repair processing/manufacturing equipment.
- Prepare and review operational performance reports, and supervise work through regular reporting and quality assessments.
- Monitor and maintain facility systems such as air compressors and HVAC units; ammonia refrigeration system knowledge is a plus.
- Drive MRO cost-efficiency through inventory management, spend analysis, and implementation of cost-saving initiatives.
