We’re seeking a detail-driven CMM Programmer to join our precision aerospace manufacturing team. You’ll be responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect complex aerospace components, ensuring they meet AS9100 and customer quality standards. This is a critical quality control role supporting high-mix, low-volume production for top-tier aviation clients.

salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate CMM programs using PC-DMIS or Calypso for first article, in-process, and final inspections
  
  
• Interpret complex aerospace blueprints and GD&T
  
  
• Perform hands-on part inspections and measurements using manual and automated methods
  
  
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming parts
  
  
• Maintain and update inspection documentation per ISO and AS9100 standards
  
  
• Collaborate with quality engineers, machinists, and production teams to ensure dimensional accuracy
  
  
• Train inspectors on CMM usage and best practices as needed
  
  
• Requirements:
  
  
• 3+ years of CMM programming experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing
  
  
• Proficiency in PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar software
  
  
• understanding of GD&T and aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001)
  
  
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly across departments
  
  
• Experience with FAI, PPAP, or FAIR packages a plus
  
  
• Familiarity with turbine blade or engine component inspection a major bonus
