Responsibilities
- Develop and validate CMM programs using PC-DMIS or Calypso for first article, in-process, and final inspections
- Interpret complex aerospace blueprints and GD&T
- Perform hands-on part inspections and measurements using manual and automated methods
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming parts
- Maintain and update inspection documentation per ISO and AS9100 standards
- Collaborate with quality engineers, machinists, and production teams to ensure dimensional accuracy
- Train inspectors on CMM usage and best practices as needed
- Requirements:
- 3+ years of CMM programming experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing
- Proficiency in PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar software
- understanding of GD&T and aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001)
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly across departments
- Experience with FAI, PPAP, or FAIR packages a plus
- Familiarity with turbine blade or engine component inspection a major bonus
