In this vital role, you'll be the linchpin in our domestic product operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant transportation from start to finish. Your exceptional communication skills in both English and Spanish will be crucial as you engage with diverse customers and vendors across Latin and North America. Your advanced Excel proficiency will be essential for managing data, generating reports, and optimizing processes. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure domestic product operations comply with internal policies and regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate domestic product operations effectively from quoting through invoicing (A-Z).
- Receive rate requests, interpret tariffs, and provide clear, professional quotations.
- Input data, file, and process documentation according to SOPs and system requirements.
- Check clients' credit status before arranging transportation.
- Collaborate closely with other teams (Air/Sea Import/Export, Contract Logistics, Sales).
- Provide professional, timely, and courteous customer service to all vendors, shippers, and agents, offering daily updates.
- Proactively inform customers of service variances, focusing on viable solutions.
- Resolve problems with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Ensure accurate and timely vendor invoicing.
- Escalate issues promptly to Domestic Product, Account Management, and/or Sales when appropriate.
- Keep clients informed and maintain knowledge of market trends and service option changes.
- Ensure all parties are fully informed of transport arrangements and event status.
- Support product dispatch by arranging, tracking, and billing efficient first/last mile movement for international shipments.
