We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and subassemblies—including heavy-duty tubes of various sizes—according to blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards.

salary: $19 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts, components, and heavy tubes using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
  
  
• Interpret and follow detailed assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics
  
  
• Handle, position, and secure large or heavy tubes during assembly processes
  
  
• Perform quality inspections and ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances
  
  
• Make necessary adjustments to components to ensure proper fit and alignment
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  
  
• Follow all company safety protocols and report any hazards
  
  
• Document production activity such as quantities completed, part numbers, and time tracking
  
  
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production and project deadlines
  
  
• Assist in troubleshooting and testing assembled components as needed
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time
