Responsibilities
- Support die cast operations, including machine setup, cycle adjustments, and defect correction.
- Oversee melting furnaces, trim presses, and material handling.
- Train and guide team members in die casting processes and safety practices.
- Assist in scheduling, assigning work, and monitoring performance to meet production goals.
- Recommend process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and maintain quality standards.
- Keep production and time records, requisition materials, and ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
- Perform hands-on die casting tasks as needed and collaborate with the department supervisor on workflow and priorities.
