Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and perform minor programming and editing on CNC machines (primarily Fanuc-controlled)
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and tight tolerance specifications
- Create and modify G-code programs to optimize tooling paths and part accuracy
- Perform in-process inspections and adjust setups or programs to maintain dimensional accuracy
- Work independently on close-tolerance parts in a low- to mid-volume environment
- Collaborate with engineering on process improvements and manufacturability feedback
- Maintain clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety and quality standards
- Minimum 8 years of CNC machining experience
- Proficient with Fanuc machinery (mills and/or lathes)
- Experience with basic CNC programming and program edits (G-code)
- strong background working with tight tolerances and aerospace components
- Skilled in reading blueprints and using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
