Responsibilities
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance for plant equipment, systems, and machinery with the goal of reducing downtime and improving overall equipment reliability. This position leads the maintenance team, including mechanical and electrical personnel, while managing maintenance schedules and priorities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and implement routine maintenance plans; coordinate necessary downtime with production.
- Manage parts and supplies inventory while maintaining cost-efficiency.
- Assign and oversee daily work tasks, ensuring alignment with production needs.
- Lead preventative and predictive maintenance efforts and ensure timely repair completion.
- Manage the maintenance department budget and monitor expenses.
- Support and recommend equipment upgrades, including participating in new installations.
- Train maintenance personnel to troubleshoot all corrugator operations and ensure readiness for mechanical and electrical challenges.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, compliant, and hazard-free workspace.
