machine operator trainee (part time on call) .

Are you only available a few days per week?  Looking to supplement your income and pick up shifts as needed? We are looking to train machine operators for 5 AM-5 PM shifts to assist our current staff, as needed!

This is an " AS NEEDED" role.

There is an initial 2 weeks of 40 Hours/ Per Week paid training, starting at $17hourly.  Once you are trained, the hourly rate will increase.  If you get called in for a shift, you will work at least 6 hours.

You must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the US and submit to a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

You will learn how to:Operate industrial mailing equipment efficiently and safely.

• Monitor and inspect product quality to ensure it meets required standards
  
  
• Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors as needed
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 12 hours at one time

working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

working weekends
