Randstad is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Test Technician. In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting comprehensive electrical tests and diagnostics on our wind turbine generators to ensure they meet our high-quality standards and performance specifications. You'll play a crucial role in the final stages of production, identifying and troubleshooting any electrical issues before the generators are shipped.

salary: $50,000 - $62,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of electrical tests on wind turbine generators, including but not limited to, insulation resistance, hi-pot, phase rotation, and winding resistance tests.
  
  
• Utilize and maintain a range of specialized testing equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and hipot testers.
  
  
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to guide testing procedures.
  
  
• Document all test results accurately and meticulously, noting any deviations or failures.
  
  
• Work with engineers and quality assurance personnel to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and failures.
  
  
• Repair or assist in the repair of electrical components and wiring as needed.
  
  
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and arc flash safety.
  
  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures.
