Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this role include:
- Utilizing proper box stacking technique and verifying proper lot code/used by dates on all cases prior to palletizing; worker lifts product box from track and places it onto pallet.
- Utilizing the station scale, checking weights for every single case and returning any cases out of company standards to the packing station.
- Immediately reporting any machinery malfunctions or issues in the Palletizing area to the Lead/Supervisor.
- Filling pallets with product ensuring proper placement of cardboard dividers per company standards and recording completed pallet times and quantity of cases.
- Wrapping completed pallet with shrink wrap per Company Standards.
- Communicating effectively with forklift operator when pallet is complete and ready to be moved.
