1st shift mechanical assembler.

Randstad is looking to two skilled Assemblers to join our team, focusing on the maintenance and refurbishment of wind turbine generators. One team is dedicated to disassembling and diagnosing generators returned from the field, while the other is responsible for reassembling them with working parts. We are looking for flexible team members who are willing to be cross-trained in both disassembly and assembly roles.

salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 5:30 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Disassembly & Diagnosis: As part of the first team, you will systematically disassemble wind turbine generators to identify and diagnose mechanical or electrical problems. This includes inspecting components for wear, damage, or malfunction and documenting your findings.
  
  
• Assembly & Repair: As part of the second team, you will reassemble generators using a combination of new and repaired parts. You'll work from detailed instructions to ensure all components are installed correctly, and the generator is fully functional before being moved to the test bench.
  
  
• Tool Operation: Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform disassembly and assembly tasks safely and efficiently.
  
  
• Quality & Safety: Follow all safety protocols and quality standards to ensure the integrity of the refurbished generators.
  
  
• Flexibility & Training: Be open to cross-training and a flexible work schedule, allowing you to support either the disassembly or assembly team as needed to meet production goals.
