Responsibilities

• Oversee the production process from start to finish and achieve production results to planning targets.
• Management of costs through optimal yield and management of controllable costs.
• Hire, develop, and train the team of 20-30 operators, forklift drivers, and general laborers that operate two shifts.
• Work closely with the Quality team to ensure that use of all food safety policies and procedures are being followed.
• Manage a 4-6 person sanitation team that is responsible for the cleanliness of the equipment and the plant.
• Ensure all physical safety guidelines are being followed.
• Identify and communicate opportunities and gaps and make recommendations to solves all issues and they come up.
• Communicate and work closely with other departments in a team environment designed to produce optimal results.
• Perform other tasks as needed and as directed by Senior Management.
