Responsibilities

• Supervision & Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Laundry Attendants. Schedule staff according to occupancy levels and operational needs, ensuring fair and efficient workload distribution.
  
  
• Quality Assurance: Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas to ensure they meet the hotel’s stringent standards of cleanliness and maintenance. Provide immediate feedback and coaching to staff to correct deficiencies.
  
  
• Historic Property Care: Oversee and implement specialized cleaning procedures for antique furniture, delicate textiles, historic architectural elements, and sensitive surfaces, ensuring the preservation of the hotel's unique character.
  
  
• Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest room amenities. Place orders as needed and ensure proper storage and cost-effectiveness.
  
  
• Guest Relations: Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and complaints related to housekeeping in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure all special requests are met and guest satisfaction is prioritized.
  
  
• Operational Efficiency: Assist in developing and implementing departmental procedures to improve efficiency and productivity. Manage lost and found property according to hotel policy.
