About the Role:
As a Picker/Packer and Material Handler, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that all customer orders are accurately and efficiently processed. Your day-to-day work will involve a combination of tasks, including retrieving items from storage, securely packing them for shipment, and managing the movement of materials throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment: Accurately and efficiently pick items from warehouse shelves according to order sheets or a scanner.
- Packaging: Pack items securely in appropriate boxes or containers, ensuring all necessary packing materials (e.g., bubble wrap, tape) are used to prevent damage during transit.
- Quality Control: Perform visual inspections of products for any defects or damage before packing. Ensure the correct quantity and items are included in each order.
- Shipping Preparation: Label packages with shipping information and prepare them for pickup by shipping carriers.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and report any discrepancies or low stock levels.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to meet daily productivity goals and deadlines.
