Responsibilities
- Responsible for the inspection, assessment, verification/testing, and documentation of process and product quality on all finished goods and ongoing production to the customer and acceptability thereof. Included in these duties are instrument care and documentation.
- Follows standard methods and techniques, inspects and tests product to ensure it meets customer and product specification, and alerts production when standards are not met.
- Assist in the retention of Customer samples, as required, ensures Quality products and processes:
- Understands and supports both quality policies and the Quality System.
- Participates in system or quality based training
- Understands, reads and interprets prints.
- Comprehends and understands measurement procedures for extrusion processes including: Single Lumen, Multi-Lumen, Overcoat, Core, Bump
- Knowledge and the ability to use various measurement systems including: Laser Micrometers, Scales, Calipers , Vision Measurement Systems, Gage Pins, Snap Gages
-Identifies and corrects, if possible, any potential quality issues throughout the organization.
Quality control techniques as needed.
- Documentation and packaging:
- Reviews overall SPC and data entry for accuracy
- Perform and complete all documentation requirements including certifications and inspection data sheets.
- Participates in the GDP, GMP, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 programs.
