Randstad is working with a client looking to fill an extrusion machine operator.  If you have an Extrusion machine operation background this would be ideal, but our client is open to seeing candidates who have general machine operation background. In this role, you will be responsible for the Setup, operation, and/or tending of machines to extrude thermoplastic in tubes, solids, shapes or coated products. Essential Job Duties: -Assist in line setup according to run sheet, adjusting equipment and machinery as necessary to meet product specification. -Examine products to verify conformance to specification using various measuring methods including: a)     Laser micrometers b)     Gage Pins c)     Tape measures d)     Snap Gages e)     Calipers -Identify and pull materials using production paperwork and load machinery. -Adjust equipment to ensure product count meets customer specification. -Assisting in performing line safety inspections to ensure equipment is running properly. -Able to read, retain, and decipher information from work orders and customer prints to produce parts. Job Qualifications, Equipment and/or Experience: · Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, uses, repair and maintenance. · Attention to detail required.  · Basic Computer skills are required. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills, preferred. ·  Must be self-directed with good communication and interpersonal skills using tact and diplomacy.  · 2 years’ experience in a Manufacturing setting is preferred.
