Responsibilities
• Perform counts and ensure all inventory for the branch is accounted for and reported
according to company policy
• Help resolve any discrepancies in actual stock levels vs. what is captured in P21
• Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and product numbers
• Work with Returns and AP to ensure accurate inventory is captured
• Manage cycle counts on a regular basis
• Monitor delivery schedule and customer orders
• Report any stock issues to management and place product orders as necessary
• Keep an accounting of depleted products and survey of un-useable products
• Perform stock inspection and examine items for defects or damaged stock
• Maintain proper inventory tagging and label stock appropriately in accordance with OSHA
regulations and company policies
• Maintain and update inventory records
• Perform other duties assigned
• Work mandatory overtime as needed
Qualifications:
• 3+ years in a warehouse or construction industry preferred
• Working knowledge of electrical products strongly preferred
• Knowledge of distribution center operations and warehouse logistics
• strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Experience with inventory management software (ex. P21)
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
