We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to build and assemble large industrial equipment, including piping systems, compressors, and turbine skids. This position involves working with heavy mechanical components, following engineering drawings, and ensuring assemblies meet quality and safety standards. Resume and Experience reqiored 

salary: $20 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Assemble large mechanical components, piping, pumps, valves, and related equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments
  
  
• Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
  
  
• Position, align, and secure heavy components during assembly processes
  
  
• Install and torque bolts, couplings, seals, and gaskets to specification
  
  
• Perform quality checks on assemblies to ensure proper fit, alignment, and tolerances
  
  
• Assist in pressure/leak testing and mechanical troubleshooting of assembled units
  
  
• Operate forklifts, hoists, or cranes as needed to move heavy parts
  
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety procedures
  
  
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to meet deadlines and resolve technical issues
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time
