Responsibilities
- Work with equipment manufacturers and maintenance staff on set up of preventive maintenance tasks and spare parts inventory for supported equipment
- Close corrective and preventive maintenance work orders upon completion and include pertinent information for equipment files
- Maintain up-to-date library of machine manuals, prints, and schematics
- Data enter procurement and inventory records by appropriate category (e.g., account, cost center, project) into the appropriate system (EAM/SAP)
- Conduct daily spot inventory checks and notify the supervisor of any part, critical spare, or materials that have reached the minimum on hand level as designated, and record them on the appropriate documentation
- Assist in ordering and receiving of maintenance related parts and materials; process purchase orders
- Receive maintenance and repair shipments; log all incoming materials; notify person material is addressed to; and deliver items. Shelve stock items
- Assist or perform regularly scheduled physical inventory cycle counts to ensure inventory is being tracked correctly
- Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
