We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team at a fast-paced wine warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of our extensive wine inventory. This role requires work ethic, the ability to lift heavy items, and excellent organizational skills. Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, particularly with fragile goods, is required. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving:
  
  
  • Unload incoming shipments of wine cases and pallets.
    
    
  • Verify the accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders, noting any discrepancies or damages.
    
    
  • Tag and label products with appropriate identification and location codes.
    
    
• Inventory Management:
  
  
  • Accurately place and store wine inventory in designated racks and bins.
    
    
  • Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
    
    
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
    
    
• Order Fulfillment:
  
  
  • Pick and pack wine orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of bottles.
    
    
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and labeling.
    
    
  • Process outgoing shipments and complete necessary paperwork.
    
    
• General Warehouse Duties:
  
  
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
    
    
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks.
    
    
  • Maintain a high level of safety and security in all warehouse operations.
    
    
  • Handle damaged or returned goods according to company policy.
    
    
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
