We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of TIG welding and metal fabrication, with a strong focus on producing high-quality, precise work. This role requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, work with various metal types and thicknesses, and execute complex fabrication projects from start to finish. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency is essential.

salary: $41,600 - $52,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on a variety of materials including but not limited to stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, and exotic alloys.
  
  
• Fabricate and assemble metal components and structures according to engineering blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  
  
• Read and accurately interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols.
  
  
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including TIG welders, shears, saws, presses, and other fabrication machinery.
  
  
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications.
  
  
• Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, tape measures) to ensure accuracy.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment as needed.
  
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
  
  
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure project success.
  
  
• Perform grinding, polishing, and other finishing work to produce a professional final product.
  
  
• Assist with the development of new fabrication techniques and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
