Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyor systems, press breaks, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Read, edit, and create PLC Ladder Logic to operate and modify production equipment.
- Clean, lubricate, and calibrate equipment as needed.
- Adjust, repair, or replace components like belts, chains, and bearings.
- Follow all company, state, and federal safety procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out protocols.
- Install and repair control systems to improve plant safety and productivity.
- Assist with training other employees on new systems and procedures.
- Maintain positive working relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of the plant.
- Keep accurate records and documentation of all maintenance jobs and assist with inventory.
What You'll Bring
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with high-tech machinery.
- Experience with maintenance, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- A high school diploma or GED; trade school or military equivalent is a plus.
- A team-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- strong communication skills and a high degree of focus.
- Basic math skills and the ability to use precision measurement tools like a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer.
