Responsibilities
Daily Operations & Material Handling
- Loading and Unloading: Efficiently move materials and products from delivery trucks, storage areas, and production lines.
- Inventory Management: Use RF scanners and other technology to accurately track and manage inventory, ensuring proper stock rotation and placement.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment, making sure all items are accounted for and secured.
- Pre-Shift Inspections: Perform daily checks on the forklift to ensure it's in safe working condition. This includes inspecting the battery, brakes, controls, and forks.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. This includes being aware of your surroundings, reporting any hazards, and ensuring a clean and hazard-free work area.
- Minor Maintenance: Report any mechanical issues or damage to equipment immediately and perform small maintenance tasks like cleaning or checking fluid levels.
- Coordination: Work closely with supervisors, inventory control staff, and other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and records of all material movements, production issues, and inventory discrepancies.
