Responsibilities
The Precision Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the meticulous assembly of small and intricate components to create high-quality electronic and mechanical products. This role requires exceptional manual dexterity, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work comfortably under a microscope for extended periods. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in precise soldering techniques, as well as the ability to use calipers and other precision measuring instruments to verify specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble intricate components: Perform precision assembly of electronic, mechanical, and electro-optical components, following detailed blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Microscope soldering: Expertly perform hand soldering and rework of both surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole components under a microscope.
- Quality assurance: Conduct rigorous quality checks on completed assemblies, using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure all components meet exact specifications and tight tolerances.
- Tool and equipment management: Utilize a variety of hand tools, soldering irons, micro-welding equipment, and automated machinery to complete assembly tasks.
- Troubleshooting and repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot assembly issues and perform necessary rework or repairs to correct deficiencies in accordance with quality standards.
