Randstad is partnering with a leading manufacturer in the plastics blow molding industry to fill a direct hire Maintenance Technician role. This is a hands-on position supporting production by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all mechanical and electrical equipment in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
salary: $56,160 - $72,800 per year

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on blow molding machines, extruders, trimmers, and associated automation equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V including motors, VFDs, PLCs, heaters, pressure gauges, and control wiring in a high-temperature, 3-phase industrial environment.
- Rebuild and repair mechanical components such as gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and pneumatic systems used throughout the blow molding process.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and machine diagrams to diagnose issues and execute repairs accurately and safely.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to support equipment upgrades, install new machinery, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
