Responsibilities
- Lead and execute all phases of work, coordinating with other departments, to start and test HVAC units and systems, ensuring reliable operation.
- Conduct pre-startup work, including reviewing design engineering drawings, bill of materials, various checklists, and loading PLC or VFD programs.
- Check and document the integrity of all components and their installation before connecting power and energizing each unit; including motor rotational check, belt and alignment checks, refrigerant charge optimization, and control sequences of operation.
- Proactively identify and resolve errors, omissions, and deficiencies before Quality Control and/or field commissioning processes.
- Prepare records and reports describing procedures, actions taken, and recommended solutions.
