Leading production facility is looking for a Production Assembly professional with a keen ability to pay close attention to detail and the ability to work with small parts. Previous production experience REQUIRED.  ****Previous electrical wiring and crimping experience is a plus**** This is an opportuinity for FULL-TIME employment. Drug screening and background check required!!

salary: $17 - $18 per hour

work hours: 7 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

o Assembly

• Billboard press and other assembly tools (riveting, heat stamping, heat shrinking, etc.)
• Threadlocker application
• Thread protection
• Assembly preparation / assembly verification
• High Capacity product assembly
• Gantry / Overhead crane operation
• Drill press setup and operation
• Specialty assembly (Ottobock jacket stripping, etc.)

o Testing

• Instron operation and data logging
• Knowledge of failure modes
• Cable fixturing and setup
• Testing / proofing assistance

Production

• Cut-to-length setup and operation
• Cold saw operation
• Bandsaw setup and operation

o Prepping

• Measurement tool usage (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
• Stripper and cable cutting machine operation
• Hand scoring and stripping cable
•  Fraying (low and high capacity)
• Braided cable preparation (low and high capacity)

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

standing for 8 hours at one time
