Responsibilities
- Transporting Freight: Safely moving cargo containers between ports, rail yards, and customer locations.
- Inspecting Equipment: Conducting thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Managing Documents: Accurately handling all necessary shipping paperwork.
- Communicating: Reporting to dispatchers and communicating with port and warehouse staff.
- Following Regulations: Adhering to all federal, state, and company safety and operational rules, including using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
