Responsibilities
Uses schematic diagrams to troubleshoot and repair electric, hydraulic and pneumatic
circuits.
Complete preventive maintenance on all production equipment in a timely manner
according to schedule.
Determine needed parts and/or equipment necessary to complete repairs and
preventive maintenance and complete appropriate order requests. Work with Parts
Room Coordinators to make sure correct parts are ordered at competitive pricing.
Learn and gain expertise on new equipment and processes.
Instruct co-workers (maintenance staff and production operators) on proper and safe
operation of equipment as needed.
Organize and maintain maintenance areas and stockroom.
Utilize Levels training program to increase technical skill, knowledge and cross training with all
machines that you are supporting. It is expected that shift maintenance co-workers utilize the
levels program and grow in skill to promote cross training activity into Mold Change and Shift
Maintenance to be a back up co-worker as needed.
Follow all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Employee
Handbook, and as stated in the various safety-related training programs.
