Responsibilities
- Machine Operation & Setup: Operate, monitor, and adjust complex production equipment (e.g., blenders, tablet presses, encapsulators, packaging lines) according to specific Batch Production Records (BPRs).
- cGMP Compliance: Strictly adhere to all cGMP and safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times, ensuring the purity and quality of the drug product.
- Quality Checks: Perform and record critical in-process quality control (QC) checks, such as weight verification, dimension inspection, and visual product quality assessment.
- Documentation (GDP): Complete all batch records, equipment logbooks, and production documentation accurately, legibly, and contemporaneously following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Cleaning & Changeover: Execute comprehensive and documented Line Clearance procedures and equipment cleaning/sanitization to prevent cross-contamination between batches.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and communicate mechanical or process faults quickly, collaborating with Maintenance and QA to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
