Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Set up, operate, monitor, and perform basic troubleshooting on manufacturing and/or packaging equipment (e.g., tablet presses, blister machines, cartoners, labelers).
- Quality & Compliance: Perform in-process quality checks to ensure products meet all specifications. Adhere strictly to all cGMP, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and safety guidelines.
- Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain batch records and other required documentation in a timely manner.
- Cleaning & Sanitization: Execute equipment cleaning, sanitization, and changeover procedures as required.
- Material Handling: Ensure machinery is properly supplied with raw materials and components needed for production runs.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality assurance personnel to meet production targets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a machine operator or packaging operator.
- Previous experience in a cGMP, FDA, or other regulated manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical, food, medical device) is strongly preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed written instructions (SOPs).
- Basic math and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- working up to 6 hrs of overtime per week
