Responsibilities
- Operate both sit-down/stand-up forklifts and cherry pickers (order pickers) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Utilize the cherry picker to retrieve or put away products on high-level racking accurately.
- Manage the staging of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all products are properly labeled and documented.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections (safety checks) on all powered industrial trucks (forklifts, cherry pickers) and report any defects immediately.
- Assist with inventory management by organizing and stacking materials neatly and safely in designated storage areas.
- Use RF scanners or other inventory systems to track product movement and maintain accurate stock records.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
