We are seeking a  experienced Reach Truck and Forklift Operator to play a crucial role in our warehouse and distribution team. This position requires proficiency in operating both standard forklifts and specialized reach trucks to efficiently manage, store, and retrieve inventory in high-density racking systems. The ideal candidate is focused on safety, precision, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate both the Reach Truck and sit-down/stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, stack, and move materials throughout the facility.
  
  
• Utilize the Reach Truck to precisely retrieve and put away products in narrow aisles and high racking locations.
  
  
• Manage the staging of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring products are properly received, labeled, and prepared for transport.
  
  
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections (safety checks) on all powered industrial trucks and report any maintenance needs immediately.
  
  
• Assist with inventory management by using RF scanners or WMS systems to track product location and maintain high inventory accuracy.
  
  
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations, especially when working at heights or in tight spaces.
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working weekends
