In this crucial role, you'll be the expert responsible for setting up, optimizing, and maintaining the process that creates high-quality parts for our customers during the night.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup and Startup:
- Perform mold changes and set up injection molding machines for production runs.
- Establish, set, and control all key process parameters (temperature, pressure, injection speed, cooling time) to achieve a stable and efficient molding cycle.
- Start up and manage auxiliary equipment (thermolators, grinders, material handlers).

- Proactively monitor machine operations to detect potential issues.
- Troubleshoot and correct process problems that lead to part defects (e.g., flash, short shots, warpage).
- Adjust process variables to optimize cycle times and improve overall efficiency while strictly maintaining quality standards.
- Proactively monitor machine operations to detect potential issues.
- Execute routine preventative maintenance on machines and tooling.
- Document all process settings, changes, and troubleshooting actions accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, strictly adhering to safety and 5S principles. What You Bring:
- Proven experience as an Injection Molding Process Technician or a similar role.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of plastic processing principles.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to quickly diagnose and resolve molding defects.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
- Ability and commitment to working the 3rd/overnight shift.
- A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
