Position Details
- Job Title: Production Operator / Production Associate
- Location: Frankfort, KY
- Shift: 2nd Shift
- Training: Mandatory 2 weeks of paid training on 1st Shift to ensure you are fully prepared before transitioning to the 2nd Shift schedule.
salary: $17.75 - $17.77 per hour

Responsibilities
- Machine Operation & Assembly:
- Operate molding machines and/or air-activated tools and equipment for the assembly or production of parts.
- Place and remove parts from fixtures.
- Utilize simple hand tools (clippers, knives, screwdrivers) to trim, cut, or prepare parts.

- Quality and Inspection:
- Perform continuous visual and manual quality checks to ensure product quality aligns with approved samples and established standards.
- Monitor and record quality assurance data, including charting machine factors that may affect quality.
- Inspect, compare, accept, or reject parts based on quality standards.
- Advise supervision of machine malfunctions or unacceptable variances in product quality (e.g., flash, splay, contamination).
- Perform continuous visual and manual quality checks to ensure product quality aligns with approved samples and established standards.
- Packing and Documentation:
- Retrieve, separate, count, weigh, pack, and label parts according to written or oral instructions.
- Read, understand, and follow Operator Instruction Sheets (OIS) to determine part numbers, inspection, and packing requirements.
- Perform simple clerical tasks like recording and summarizing production data.
