• Training: Mandatory 2 weeks of paid training on 1st Shift to ensure you are fully prepared before transitioning to the 2nd Shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation & Assembly:
  
  
  • Operate molding machines and/or air-activated tools and equipment for the assembly or production of parts.
    
    
  • Place and remove parts from fixtures.
    
    
  • Utilize simple hand tools (clippers, knives, screwdrivers) to trim, cut, or prepare parts.
    
    
• Quality and Inspection:
  
  
  • Perform continuous visual and manual quality checks to ensure product quality aligns with approved samples and established standards.
    
    
  • Monitor and record quality assurance data, including charting machine factors that may affect quality.
    
    
  • Inspect, compare, accept, or reject parts based on quality standards.
    
    
  • Advise supervision of machine malfunctions or unacceptable variances in product quality (e.g., flash, splay, contamination).
    
    
• Packing and Documentation:
  
  
  • Retrieve, separate, count, weigh, pack, and label parts according to written or oral instructions.
    
    
  • Read, understand, and follow Operator Instruction Sheets (OIS) to determine part numbers, inspection, and packing requirements.
    
    
  • Perform simple clerical tasks like recording and summarizing production data.
