Responsibilities
This role is expected to be project-based rather than routine, with a focus on analytics and process improvement
- Plan and communicate benefits offerings for the firm
- Negotiate benefits terms and renewals with vendors/brokers
- Manage benefits administration for all offices
- Maintain day-to-day relationship with employees, brokers, vendors, and employees
- Conduct open enrollments
- Manage ERISA and COBRA compliance
- Oversee health and welfare plan administration, including disability, HCRA, DCRA, life, medical, dental, 401(k) program, employee exit program, transportation programs, and time off management.
- Manage plans and communicate employee benefit offerings
- Support the Benefits team with large-scale initiatives, including a pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) transition launching in early 2026
- Perform data analysis and reporting
- Perform benefit census validation
- Cross-train on processes such as POPR funding
- Support actuaries and vendors by verifying census data and ensuring accuracy in benefit records
