What You'll Do
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment, including furnaces, mechanical systems, and facility infrastructure.
- Utilize your expertise in electrical, electronic, and mechanical hardware, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and control systems.
- Troubleshoot and configure microprocessor-based systems, electronic equipment, and power distribution systems.
- Perform all work in accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC), diagrams, specifications, and safety standards.
- Provide maintenance and production support, demonstrating cost-effective judgment in purchasing decisions.
- Act promptly to correct equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Work effectively without direct supervision, including working overtime and traveling as necessary for business needs (which may include overnight stays). Required Experience & Skills:
- Hands-on Electrical and Mechanical experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot effectively with knowledge of:
- Motor Control 1 & 2
- PLC logic controls and programming
- Current computer hardware and industrial electronics
- Motor Control 1 & 2
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in an industrial environment, with two (2) years of experience in industrial electronics, computers, and electrical systems.
- Proven ability in temperature uniformity surveys.
- General knowledge of current operating equipment and processes.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
