Shift: Days- possibility to switch to Nights (8am-6:30pm) Location: Kansas City, MO We're looking for a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team! If you have hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical systems, enjoy troubleshooting complex equipment, and are ready to demonstrate leadership, we encourage you to apply.

What You'll Do

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment, including furnaces, mechanical systems, and facility infrastructure.
  
  
• Utilize your expertise in electrical, electronic, and mechanical hardware, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and control systems.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and configure microprocessor-based systems, electronic equipment, and power distribution systems.
  
  
• Perform all work in accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC), diagrams, specifications, and safety standards.
  
  
• Provide maintenance and production support, demonstrating cost-effective judgment in purchasing decisions.
  
  
• Act promptly to correct equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
  
  
• Work effectively without direct supervision, including working overtime and traveling as necessary for business needs (which may include overnight stays). Required Experience & Skills:
  
  
• Hands-on Electrical and Mechanical experience or equivalent education and experience.
  
  
• Proven ability to troubleshoot effectively with knowledge of:
  
  
  • Motor Control 1 & 2
    
    
  • PLC logic controls and programming
    
    
  • Current computer hardware and industrial electronics
    
    
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in an industrial environment, with two (2) years of experience in industrial electronics, computers, and electrical systems.
  
  
• Proven ability in temperature uniformity surveys.
  
  
• General knowledge of current operating equipment and processes.
  
  
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
