Our client in Delaware County is searchin for a Production Supervisor to lead operations on their weekend overnight shift. The ideal candidate has plastics industry experience and experience leading a team. In this role, the individual will oversee the overnight team, ensuring production goals are met, safety is followed and machinery runs smoothy. Responsibilities

• Manage, guide, and train production staff, monitor performance, and handle personnel-related duties like attendance and disciplinary actions. 
  
  
• Oversee the extrusion workflow, assign tasks, and ensure production schedules are followed to meet output targets. 
  
  
• Monitor product quality, troubleshoot defects, verify that specifications are met, and maintain accurate production paperwork and records. 
  
  
• Ensure a safe working environment, train employees on safe equipment operation, and coordinate with maintenance to schedule regular and preventative maintenance. 
  
  
• Work to improve efficiency, minimize waste and scrap, and reduce downtime by identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects.
