In this critical role, you will be responsible for the assembly of complex mechanical and electromechanical components that power next-generation aircraft and space systems. Responsibilities
- Assemble complex mechanical, electro-mechanical, and structural components for aircraft and spacecraft using detailed blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Inspect and verify components for adherence to quality standards and specifications using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Perform necessary drilling, tapping, filing, and cleaning of parts as required for assembly.
- Install fasteners, seals, tubing, and wiring harnesses according to engineering drawings.
- Operate standard hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Document work performed, including inspection reports and process adherence, utilizing our quality management system.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to resolve assembly issues and continuously improve processes.
