The Role and Core Focus This position is primarily focused on the repair, modification, and development assistance of critical production equipment. You will be the primary troubleshooter on the floor, working to achieve minimum downtime.
- Mechanical Repair (Approx. 60% of work): You will be responsible for a high volume of mechanical repairs, including repairs of industrial machinery, replacing gearboxes, motor chains, and maintaining complex conveyor systems.
- Fabrication & Welding: Perform both MIG and Stick welding to fabricate and repair machinery components.
- Systems Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and complex mechanical systems.
- PLC Troubleshooting: Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs is a significant advantage, as much of our machinery is PLC-powered.
- Vast electro-mechanical experience.
- strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- The desire for longevity and a proven track record as an independent, self-motivated go-getter.
- Ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to use our CMMS Advance Maintenance Management System (AMMS) for reporting downtime and inventory

Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Mechanic, your main duties will include:
- Completing an assigned daily checklist (1st priority).
- Completing all assigned work orders in a timely manner.
- Troubleshooting mechanical/electrical problems with equipment.
- Assisting with continuous improvement efforts and preventive maintenance plant-wide.
- Ensuring equipment operates correctly once a job is complete and keeping equipment operational at all times.
- Minimizing downtime.
- Identifying and reporting all required parts for repair and work orders by part number, and signing out all parts removed from inventory.
- Maintaining a clean work area—a task is not complete until the work area is cleaned up.
- Adhering to safety, EEOC, and OSHA policies.
