- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving raw materials, storing finished goods, and managing outbound shipments.
- Ensure accurate inventory control through cycle counts, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Schedule, track, and communicate incoming and outgoing deliveries with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, and logistics departments to meet shipping schedules and maintain product integrity.
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations (FDA, USDA, SQF, HACCP, etc.), including temperature monitoring, sanitation, and traceability requirements.
- Assist in the implementation of warehouse best practices to improve accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
- Support warehouse team members and assist in training on proper handling, storage, and documentation procedures.
- Generate and review reports related to inventory levels, shipping accuracy, and operational performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory coordination within a food manufacturing or distribution environment.
- understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with WMS or ERP systems preferred.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in temperature-controlled environments as needed.
- Forklift certification or experience is a plus.
