We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Inspector for a critical contract assignment running immediately through the end of the year. If you are detail-oriented, technically proficient, and available for a short-term commitment, this is an excellent opportunity.
This role is essential for ensuring all parts, materials, and components meet rigorous quality standards by utilizing blueprints, specifications, and precise measurement equipment.
You'll be responsible for:
- Material Inspection: Approve or reject incoming materials and components by verifying specifications through visual and accurate measurement tests.
- Production Monitoring: Check in-process production to ensure it adheres to specifications, communicating any necessary adjustments swiftly to the production supervisor.
- Final Approval: Inspect finished products to confirm compliance with specifications, approving them or initiating rework as needed.
- Documentation: Complete accurate reports and logs, summarize rework and waste data, and input information into the quality database.
- Equipment Care: Maintain measurement equipment in proper operating condition by following instructions, calibration requirements, and arranging for timely repairs.
- Compliance: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to established standards and legal regulations
- The ability to read and interpret prints, tables, specifications, and technical data.
- Proficiency in using measurement equipment and gauges such as calipers, micrometers, and various gauges to verify product conformance.
- A technical understanding of how products are made.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and meticulous detail-oriented skills.
- The capacity to work independently and collaborate effectively with departments like Engineering and Production.
salary: $22 - $22.01 per hour

Responsibilities
