We are immediately hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at a major global leader in the packaging and paper manufacturing industry, where you'll play a vital role in keeping our high-volume production lines running safely and efficiently 24/7. This demanding but rewarding role requires strong skills in both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, including expert knowledge of VFDs and PLCs, as you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on complex industrial machinery while strictly adhering to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and other safety procedures. Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on production equipment, which may include paper machines, corrugators, converting equipment, pumps, motors, and conveyor systems.
  
  
• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to minimize unplanned downtime, including lubrication, parts replacement, and system checks.
  
  
• Electrical Systems: Work on industrial electrical systems, including motor controls, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) – with proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics.
  
  
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to all plant safety rules, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, confined space entry, and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  
  
• Documentation: Accurately document all repair and maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  
  
• Collaboration: Work effectively with production operators, engineers, and other maintenance personnel to address equipment issues promptly.
