We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tool & Mold Maker to join our Manufacturing Facility in Houston, TX. This critical role is responsible for the complex tasks associated with mold tooling design and plastic injection molding processes, ensuring our precision molds are maintained and optimized to support continuous, high-quality production. Responsibilities

• Handle highly complex technical tasks related to mold tooling design and plastic injection molding processes, including but not limited to: Performing mold and tooling setups, repairs, verification of part quality and monitor/verify daily production quantities and efficiencies in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Support production operations by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing complex repairs and preventative maintenance on injection molds. This includes disassembling, cleaning, repairing, and replacing defective parts in a variety of complex molding tools.
• Use working knowledge of fits, tolerances, and allowable mold running parameters, proficient in mold polishing, and basic hot runner repair.
• Evaluate molds to recommend necessary repairs or modifications, verify part quality and critical process parameters, and set up methods and procedures according to detailed specifications and blueprints.
