Responsibilities
- Machine Operation & Setup:
- Set up and start blow molding machines (e.g., Uniloy, Sidel, etc.) according to production schedules and specifications (e.g., bottle size, weight, and mold temperature).
- Monitor machine performance, pressure gauges, temperature controls, and material feed rates to maintain optimal production efficiency.
- Load raw materials (resins/plastic pellets) into hoppers as needed.

- Quality Control:
- Perform regular quality checks on finished containers for defects such as flash, short shots, neck finish issues, or dimensional tolerances using calipers, gauges, and visual inspection.
- Adjust machine settings promptly to correct quality issues and minimize scrap material.
- Document quality checks and production output accurately in logs and tracking systems.

- Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues with the blow molding equipment (e.g., jams, component adjustments).
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and lubrication on machines and molds as scheduled.
- Communicate complex maintenance needs to the Maintenance Department immediately to minimize downtime.
