Randstad has a must fill immediate opening available for a forklift operator at a local food manufacturing plant in Scottsville, KY.  This is a 223 rotational night shift position.  We are looking for a skilled and safety conscious forklift operator to join our dynamic team.  This  is a fast paced environment with the potential of temp to hire.

salary: $18.5 - $19 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6 PM - 6:30 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

The operator will  store finished goods in the warehouse and ensure good housekeeping. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and to balance. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch and talk or hear.  A minimum of 2 years of recent experience operating a stand up  forklift and within the last 6 months.  The employee is occasionally required to  lift and/or move up to 40 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move 50 lbs.  Employee will pass a physical and is required to act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times.



The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 12 hours at one time

working weekends
