We are hiring a focused and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our crucial 3rd shift operations (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM) at our state-of-the-art facility. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining peak performance throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all third-shift production activities, ensuring continuous operation and high product quality.
- Maintain rigorous safety protocols and a secure working environment for all team members.
- Optimize workflow and resource allocation to consistently meet and exceed production quotas.
- Train, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of associates, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Liaise with maintenance and quality control teams to rapidly address equipment failures or process deviations.
- Prepare comprehensive end-of-shift reports detailing output, incidents, and performance metrics.
Qualifications You Must Possess
- A minimum of 5 years of proven supervisory experience within a high-volume manufacturing or production setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- strong mechanical aptitude and sophisticated troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills, particularly under pressure.
- The ability to reliably work the full 3rd shift schedule (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM).

Responsibilities
- Drive company to achieve goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and ecaluating flow of production
- Effectively manage labor to meet plant labor productivity & cost goals by coordinating work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequence
- Monitor production activities, identify problems, and troubleshoot causes to develop solutions
- Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly objectives, communicating them to employees to ensure alignment
- Create, train, monitor, and evaluate team on safety, quality and standard operating procedures.
- Train and understand of all existing and any new production equipment – create and/or review training documentation to ensure it’s up to date and accurate
- Troubleshoot processing techniques and production machinery and provide solutions for continuous improvement
- Accurately record, communicate, and maintain required documentation in timely manner.
- Analyze and submit daily reporting on performance and progress as it relates to production, quality, safety, staffing, and regular maintenance duties.
- Own all KPIs to ensure the team is meeting or exceeding targets, and implement process change that would minimize waste levels and meets all customer requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and provide problem solving and resolution skills for departmental issues.
