- 2nd Shift Material Handler / Stand-Up Forklift Operator
Location: Frankfort, KY Area Shift: 2nd Shift (Typical hours range from 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with mandatory overtime as business needs require)
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious 2nd Shift Material Handler / Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our logistics team at a manufacturing facility in the Frankfort, KY area. This position is vital for supporting continuous production by ensuring the accurate, timely, and safe movement and control of materials throughout the operation
Minimum of 2 years of recent, verifiable experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift (Reach Truck or Turret Truck) in a high-volume warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency with inventory control using an RF scanner or equivalent handheld device.

Responsibilities
- Shipping and Receiving: Performing tasks related to the shipment and receipt of raw materials, supplies, and finished products. This includes communicating with couriers (FedEx, UPS, etc.), packaging, and processing outbound materials as scheduled.
- Material Movement and Storage:
- Providing physical movement of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods to designated storage locations or manufacturing areas.
- Operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (as per training).
- Monitoring storage space capacity and communicating issues to the logistics group.
- Providing physical movement of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods to designated storage locations or manufacturing areas.
- Inventory Control and Documentation:
- Transacting inventory using the company's ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning) for various orders (PO, STO, RMA).
- Performing scheduled cycle count tasks and participating in inventory count activities to ensure accuracy.
- Labeling and storing materials and finished goods according to their quality status (e.g., Quality Inspection, Unrestricted Use).
- Transacting inventory using the company's ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning) for various orders (PO, STO, RMA).
- Quality and Compliance:
- Executing material movements based on instructions from the Quality Control (QC) group.
- Performing disposition of materials and finished goods according to instructions from Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and other quality processes.
- Discarding expired materials while adhering to safety practices and complying with C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) requirements.
- Executing material movements based on instructions from the Quality Control (QC) group.
